I'm a designer who got curious about what happens before the design: how requests arrive, who approves what, and why a "quick tweak" is never quick. That curiosity has taken me from freelance graphic design in Mumbai in 2011 to leading creative teams at Accenture, Burns & McDonnell, The Times Group, and now ION Group, across consulting, engineering, media, and technology. These days I'm based in Toronto, where I'm still deciding how I feel about winter.
At ION, I joined Impact, the internal communications agency, when it was a handful of generalists doing a bit of everything, and helped grow it into a team of 58. Now I head up the global presentation graphics team, where we help the C-suite, sales, legal, and HR across five verticals and 32 sub-brands make their ideas look as good as they sound.
What I enjoy most is making creative work run smoothly for the people who rely on it, ideally before anyone types "urgent" in a subject line. I'm looking for a role where I can run a creative services function or an internal agency, in any industry that values creative work at scale.
On paper: I have a postgraduate in Design Management from George Brown Polytechnic and an MBA in Marketing.
Off paper: strong opinions about template governance.
